About The Position
The Line Technician is a technical expert in equipment operation and maintenance on the production line. The role supports production by performing preventive maintenance, helping keep equipment clean and operational, leading changeovers and lockout/tagout activities, and filling in for machine operators as needed. The position follows safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines. Additional physical requirements, education, or certification may be required for safe and successful performance of the job.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
- Serve as the technical leader for changeovers.
- Own the equipment maintenance log.
- Lead lockout/tagout activities.
- Follow safety and GMP guidelines.
- Fill in for any machine operator on the line.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
