About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Line Operator for their Worland, Wyoming location. The Line Operator is responsible for the safe operation of filler, palletizer, and packing machines to produce beverage products that meet all food safety standards. This role requires adherence to all safety standards, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment is very loud and involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals (including caustic chemicals), and humid or wet conditions. The company produces and distributes a variety of premium beverages and aims to be a strategic business partner in the communities they serve, with a business footprint across the Mountain-West states.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
  • Must wear Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices.
  • Complete all required Food Safety and GMP training and demonstrate compliance on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate filler, palletizer, and packing machines.
  • Produce beverage products meeting all food safety standards.
  • Perform all functions of the position meeting all safety standards.
  • Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation.
  • Inspect and evaluate operation to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Notify appropriate foreman or supervisor of immediate or anticipated problems in production process.
  • Make minor/routine adjustments to machine controls and guides, consistent with production and change over standard operating procedures.
  • Replenish packaging supplies such as caps, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels to ensure minimum downtime.
  • Mount supplies on spindles or place supplies in hopper or other feeding devices.
  • Inspect filled containers to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
  • Remove samples of product, label with identifying information, and take samples to laboratory for analysis.
  • Perform minor cleaning of machine parts and surrounding area.
  • Remove jams and stop machine in circumstances that may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment or product.
  • Fill out and maintain required production logs and status documentation.
  • Wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
  • Wear Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
  • Complete all required Food Safety and GMP training and demonstrate compliance on a continual basis.
