About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Line Operator performs routine activities in a manufacturing plant. Duties include preparing jobs, maintaining safe working conditions, transporting materials, using power tools and other equipment, building temporary structures, and collaborating with other plant workers. The shift is 10:40 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Typically possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Willingness to help team members and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and ready or put away tools as assigned.
• Follow directions to operate machinery, supply or hold routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Perform routine property care activities and other non-technical routine plant tasks.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products.
• Report issues to a supervisor or higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
