About The Position

The Line Operator IV is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining all aerosol and liquid filling equipment to produce defect-free finished goods. This role prioritizes safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to standard work to meet or exceed cycle times. The operator will also be responsible for quality, uptime goals, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment through 6S principles.

Requirements

  • Must have safety as number one priority.
  • Know and practice Continuous Improvement.
  • Good attendance record (2 absences or less) and must maintain good attendance.
  • Ability to input or acquire information from computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aerosol and liquid filling equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (6S, SMED, TPM).
  • Experience in blending raw materials.
  • Familiarity with standard work and key points.
  • Experience performing quality checks.
  • Experience with downtime data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain all aerosol and liquid filling equipment.
  • Produce defect-free finished goods.
  • Assume responsibility for safety, 6S, quality, and uptime goals.
  • Follow standard work to meet or exceed established cycle times.
  • Pass Lean audits (6S, Standard Work, SMED, TPM).
  • Operate and changeover complex packaging equipment.
  • Blend raw materials to create product that meets specifications and follows SFO instructions/key points.
  • Know and follow all Standard Work & Key Points.
  • Assist with creating, implementing, & sustaining standard work and key points.
  • Perform TPM activities.
  • Perform Quality checks as assigned.
  • Work with teams to actively promote Continuous Improvement.
  • Assist Team with coordination and pre-planning of changeover activities using SMED tools.
  • Work with maintenance and Leadership group to understand, analyze, & utilize downtime data to improve uptime.
  • Input or acquire information from computer.
  • Enter accurate data in any process collection system in use.
  • Responsible for meeting TAKT time in changeover of equipment following standard work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
