This role is responsible for forecasting, planning, and scheduling maintenance events to maintain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory compliance. The Line Maintenance Planner ensures all maintenance is scheduled within the required time, providing viable options to accommodate planned maintenance requirements. They must ensure no overfly activity of maintenance tasks while balancing the needs of Technical Operations, System Operations, Marketing, and other internal/external customers. The planner is responsible for ensuring required maintenance is scheduled and accomplished within specified limits, coordinating with Maintenance Control and Materials for parts, and managing AIMS and routing changes. They will also assist with recovery plans during operational disruptions and ensure compliance with aircraft tracking to designated maintenance locations. Collaboration with System Operations and Technical Operations Leadership to identify operational issues impacting ground time, and with training and integration of new Line Planners to foster a positive learning environment and promote continuous professional development are key aspects of this role. The position also involves providing data and reports for performance monitoring and maintaining the electronic task database.
