About The Position

As a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters. The Line Leader will serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are met. They will analyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and quality, drive to key performance goals for production lines, and work with various departments on short term and long term projects.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
3-5 years experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team members.
Strong desire and drive to learn new systems and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysis.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree (Production or Operations Management, Business, or related discipline) is preferred.
Previous glass industry experience is highly preferred.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred.
