Requirements
- Working knowledge of Packaging equipment and basic troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude
- 1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong computer, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities and work independently
- Regular lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
- A builder of teams and positive work environments
Responsibilities
- Be trained and required to operate different types of machinery in order to effectively complete required tasks
- Train and provide direction to Packaging Technicians to maintain consistent operation of all packaging lines meeting production targets
- Organize and complete effective and efficient changeovers
- Troubleshoot packaging equipment and perform preventative maintenance when required
- Communicating effectively with Operations Leaders to maintain production
- Working in compliance with established Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety protocols, reporting all concerns to your supervisor
