About The Position

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a safety-focused, dependable Line Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting product between service centers and designated locations while ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries. Requirements

  • Must provide a clean MVR (dated within 30 days of application)
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Minimum 2 Year driving box trucks experience
  • Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
  • Forklift certified or ability to become certified
  • Ability to read and follow directions in English
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and occasional rain
  • Ability to safely complete assigned routes and required documentation
  • Must pass: Pre-employment drug screening, Background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration and requirements

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations and/or box truck to transport trailers between service centers and turn-point locations
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using approved freight handling equipment
  • Secure cargo and maintain load integrity
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Communicate with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays, hazards, and incidents
  • Complete drop-and-hook operations and adjust trailer configurations as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation regulations
  • Follow Company safety policies and vehicle accident reporting procedures
  • Operate safely and report to work well-rested and prepared
  • Complete required paperwork and electronic logging documentation
  • Support additional transportation duties as needed
  • Able to Drive a Tractor and 53’ Trailer ft. and 26 foot box truck and over 21 as well as work over nights.
