About The Position
States Logistics Services, Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Line Driver (CDL A Driver) to join their team. This role involves 2-3 trips per week, with one overnight stay per trip, covering routes in California, Nevada, and Arizona. Start times vary based on customer requests and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays, with at least one weekend day off consistently. The driver will primarily drive to stops in Southern California, extending to Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona. On occasion, local driving within Southern California may be required, involving limited product touching.
Requirements
- 18 months of driving experience with a tractor/trailer
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions, etc.)
- Have a valid Class A CDL
Nice To Haves
- OTR experience is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive to stops in Southern California to primarily Northern California as well as Nevada & Arizona.
