About The Position

As a Line Crossing Technician II at Enbridge, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe and reliable operation of our pipeline infrastructure. Working as part of a close‑knit, dedicated team, you will assist with a wide range of daily field activities that help ensure pipeline integrity. Requirements

  • High School Diploma with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Must be committed to and able to display integrity, safety, and respect in the workplace.
  • Must be safety conscious and committed to working in a safe environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & excellent driving record.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and aptitude for several other specialized programs.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, physical, and background check.
  • Communications skills to properly plan work negotiate agreement and ensure requirements are met with third party contractors.
  • Must live within 30 miles of assigned facility.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, complete, and file crossing and proximity agreements; respond to One‑Call notifications and investigate, document, and educate on One‑Call violations.
  • Perform all line‑crossing activities, including locating and staking pipelines, coordinating with third parties and landowners, monitoring crossings, and completing required reports.
  • Protect pipeline integrity by monitoring right‑of‑way activity, addressing abnormal conditions, taking preventative or corrective actions, and escalating issues as required.
  • Support inspections and investigations, including aerial patrol findings, contractor work oversight, and ensuring ROW signage meets company requirements.
  • Provide emergency response support, including containment, repair, cleanup, and preventative measures to mitigate potential incidents.
  • Complete required training and Operator Qualifications, participate in alcohol‑free on‑call rotations, perform applicable maintenance tasks, and assist with regional stakeholder engagement initiatives.
