About The Position

Marriott Syracuse Downtown is seeking a Line Cook II to join the fine dining 11 Waters restaurant. This role involves leading kitchen work, assisting the Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in preparing, cooking, and supporting kitchen staff. Responsibilities

  • Inspects, selects and uses food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
  • Ensure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
  • Date all food containers and rotate.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
