About The Position

As a Line Cook, you’ll be hands-on in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, preparing and plating food that matches our high standards. You’ll work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure every guest gets an exceptional experience. This is a tip-eligible position and a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic brewery kitchen.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2–3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
San Diego County Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-first mindset
Must be over 18 years of age or able to show proof of a work permit if under 18 years of age
Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
Must be able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification within 60 days of hire
Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours)
Able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds numerous times per shift
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items using grills, broilers, ovens, fryers, and other equipment
Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality
Expedite orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH teams
Assist with events and special menus as needed
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations
Rotate inventory and ensure proper food storage and freshness
Support training and teamwork on the line
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
