About The Position
Line Cooks, or Heart of House Team Members, are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to Chili's recipes, maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, communicate ticket times, and keep food orders flowing continuously. The role contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for Team Members and Guests.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
