About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role supports kitchen operations by preparing food according to recipe procedures, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, communicating ticket times, and keeping orders moving continuously. Candidates should be friendly and caring toward teammates and able to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
