Requirements

  • English reading, writing and communication
  • Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferred
  • Knife skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Will lift up to 25lbs frequently up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Line Cooking experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
  • Ensures all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Work in close liaison with chef.
  • Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
  • Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.
