About The Position
As a member of Chili's Heart of House team, the Line Cook helps set the pace for a great shift by preparing food according to company recipes, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and keeping orders moving continuously. The role involves communicating ticket times to other Team Members and helping create a safe, welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
