About The Position
Line Cooks at Chili’s, known as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting dependable, fast service. The role involves following recipe procedures, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, communicating ticket times, and ensuring food orders continue to flow from the kitchen. Team Members are expected to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
