About The Position
Line Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team. They help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food according to company recipes, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and ensuring orders continue flowing from the kitchen. They work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and contribute to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for team members.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to team members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
