About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role focuses on preparing food according to Chili’s recipes, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and ensuring food orders flow continuously from the kitchen. Candidates should be friendly and caring toward teammates and able to act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
