About The Position

Join our award-winning culinary team at Testarossa Winery! 107 Bistro & Wine Bar (107) at Testarossa Winery offers California cuisine with a one-of-a-kind menu, blending classic dishes with modern flavors, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients for guests to pair with our stellar selection of award-winning wines. We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,900 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 is open Thursday (dinner from 3-8pm) and Friday - Sunday (lunch and dinner from 12pm-8pm). Located on a charming historic patio surrounded by 100 year old trees, 107 offers a unique outdoor dining experience focusing on small shareable plates.

Requirements

  • 2+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
  • ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
  • Safe knife skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication
  • Ability to read and understand recipes

Responsibilities

  • Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, small plates, appetizers and desserts
  • Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
  • Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas
  • Working efficiently in a face-paced environment
