About The Position

We are looking for talented and passionate Line Cooks and Senior Line Cooks to join our beautiful restaurants! The Distillery Restaurants Corp. is the creator of Cluny Bistro, El Catrin, Pure Spirits, Madrina Bar y Tapas, and Distillery Events (Archeo and The Loft). Requirements

  • At least 2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Graduated with a culinary degree/diploma or it's in process. It's possible that school wasn’t your thing, but you’ve got the equivalent to a college education through a combination of education and experience.
  • Genuine passion for food and a drive to create.
  • Demonstrate exceptional relationship-building and communication skills among your team members at the restaurant.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Humble coupled with a good sense of humour.
  • Must already have legal permission to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing food according to recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set out by our Executive Chef
  • Operating standard kitchen equipment with caution
  • Maintaining clean and organized stations
  • Following FIFO method to maximize product freshness
  • Moving food products and supplies between outlets when necessary
  • Reporting any equipment/utensil malfunctions/deficiencies to Chef on duty
  • Working collaboratively with BOH team members
  • Encouraging the DRC’s core beliefs and values on a daily basis
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
