Line Cook - PM Shift

About The Position
Starbird is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and plate food according to Starbird guidelines. The role includes frying chicken, making salads and sandwiches, preparing food, stocking supplies, and setting up kitchen stations. Cooks work in a fast-paced kitchen, track multiple orders, and are expected to be open to coaching and mentoring in a learning-focused culture. Evening and morning shifts are available, and weekend shifts are required. This is a tipped position, with a listed salary of $19 per hour.
Requirements
- Kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and grasp for extended periods.
- Sufficient mobility to move and operate in a confined work area.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds and place items on high and low shelves.
- Ability to tolerate temperature changes in kitchen and refrigerated areas.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Openness to coaching and mentoring.
