This role involves managing food preparation, ensuring proper storage and rotation of perishables, and maintaining kitchen equipment. The Line Cook also plays a part in controlling food costs and waste, and assisting with buffet stocking. Compliance with attendance rules and performing other job-related duties as assigned are also key aspects of this position.
