About The Position

Vital Root, located on Denver’s bustling Tennyson street, focuses on plant-based meals that nourish the body and honor sustainability. Mostly vegetarian and 100% gluten-free, this fast-casual concept from Edible Beats serves real ingredients and real food in a bright, comfy space brimming with natural accents and a large, covered patio. In year 1, earn between $23–$25 per hour on average (with tips included). Wages go higher from there based on tenure and proficiency. The base wage is $19.29/hour plus tips through a tip pool system, shared across the team and added to your hourly pay.

Requirements

• Can function in a high-volume kitchen w/ the ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time effectively
• Experience with and/or a willingness to explore a variety of cuisines, techniques, and styles of cooking is mandatory
• Mindset around learning and personal development
• Brings energy and a positive attitude
• Works well collaboratively and individually
• Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, high level food handling and storage standards & procedures
• Physical stamina to stand & move throughout the duration of a shift
• Open availability including nights & weekends
• Must be able to lift over 20lbs multiple times per shift
