About The Position

Meadia Heights Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Line Cooks. Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company committed to serving people and creating exceptional experiences. The club offers a challenging private 18-hole championship course layout. This role is responsible for preparing food items according to standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and working closely with the front of the house team to ensure timely and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Follows standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation.
Prepares meats, seafood, vegetable, and other items required for the line.
Carefully follows standard recipes when preparing all items.
Responsible for assigned station setup, execution, breakdown and cleaning.
Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensures that all restaurant staff are familiar with the key ingredients, preparation, and taste of all menu items.
Works closely with the front of the house service team to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation.
Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
Reports to scheduled shifts on time and communicates any absences/tardiness according to company policy.
Demonstrate basic knife skills and safe handling techniques appropriate for volume food production.
Accepts coaching and direction from leadership in a professional manner.
Identifies any product quality issues and communicates concerns to chef/sous chef.
