About The Position

The Summer Camp Counselor ensures the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of campers by leading recreational activities, mentoring youth, and supervising group dynamics. They plan daily schedules, enforce safety guidelines, facilitate games, and act as positive role models. Requirements
- Experience working with children (e.g., childcare, tutoring, or coaching).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Patience, creativity, adaptability, and high energy.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Physical stamina
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant awareness of campers to ensure physical and emotional safety, adhering to all emergency procedures.
- Plan, lead, and participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, sports, and team-building exercises.
- Build positive relationships, encouraging camper growth, skill achievement, and inclusivity among diverse groups.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with co-counselors and supervisors to maintain a clean and functioning camp environment.
