About The Position

As a Chili’s Heart of House Team Member, the Line Cook helps set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role focuses on preparing food according to company recipes, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and working with Team Members to keep orders moving continuously. Chili’s seeks someone who takes pride in teamwork and contributes to a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
• Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
