Full-time Line Cook
About The Position
The Line Cook position at Somerset Assisted Living maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, and other items using machine and manual cleaning methods. The role ensures work areas remain clean, safe, and sanitary and complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. The employee incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others. This is a full-time position scheduled Thursdays through Mondays, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with 7.5-hour shifts. Holiday availability is preferred. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handler's card upon starting.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient.
