About The Position

The Eagle, a food and beer hall serving Southern fried chicken and sides, is hiring an experienced Line Cook for its Deerfield location in Mason, Ohio. Line Cooks are responsible for the overall quality of menu items in accordance with Thunderdome Restaurant Group’s standards and specifications. The role is suited to someone passionate about the work and driven to grow alongside the restaurant group.

The job requires continuous movement, including regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. It also requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience as a line cook.
• Ability to regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Proper knife skills and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and efficient work station.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Set up and stock all necessary items.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative team environment.
• Prepare menu items using proper knife skills and cooking techniques.
• Ensure menu items meet Thunderdome’s standards and specifications.
