About The Position

Domino’s Line Cooks prepare food according to Domino’s specifications while following food-safety and product-handling procedures. The role requires working quickly in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment and adjusting as business needs change. Line Cooks work as part of an assembly line, communicate with teammates, and help maintain the readiness, quality, sanitation, and stock of the makeline and cut table.

Requirements

Minimal work experience; prior experience is not required, and relevant on-the-job training is provided.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Exceptional time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
Ability to read a computer screen.
Ability to memorize topping and product codes.
Ability to stand or walk for 8–10-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
Attention to detail, hard work, and pride and accuracy in work.
Willingness to comply with all food-safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

One year of restaurant experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Sales experience.
Customer-service experience.

Responsibilities

Follow all food-safety guidelines and procedures.
Know and follow Domino’s recipes and product specifications.
Check makeline and cut-table readiness at the beginning of each shift.
Check temperatures of refrigeration units and bins.
Work swiftly during time-sensitive periods, including for 2–4 hours at a time.
Portion and itemize products according to Domino’s standards.
Dock and stretch dough according to Domino’s standards.
Work in an assembly-line configuration.
Re-date products moved to in-use status.
Communicate with other station team members about needs.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the makeline and cut table.
Restock makeline bins and cabinets as business allows or requires.
Check product quality during baking and boxing for accuracy against Domino’s specifications.
Report hazards and maintenance needs.
