About The Position

McMenamins Old St. Francis School is hiring a Line Cook. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Line cooks handle tasks throughout kitchen opening and closing, including preparing and presenting hot and cold food products such as salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté and grill items. They organize and clean their work areas. The role involves physical work, mental agility, and multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Cooks must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.

Responsibilities

• Handle kitchen tasks from opening through closing.
• Prepare and present hot and cold food products, including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté and grill items.
• Organize and clean the work area.
