About The Position
Line Cooks, part of Chili's Heart of House team, help set the pace for great shifts by providing dependable, fast service. The role focuses on executing recipes, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, coordinating ticket times with Team Members, and keeping food orders moving continuously. The position is at the Homestead Chili's location. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
