About The Position

The Courtyard/Residence Inn Complex is looking for team members to join their culinary team and fill the position of Line Cook. This role involves preparing food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. Requirements

  • At least two years of experience as a Line Cook, preferably at a hotel.
  • Food Handler certification.
  • Ability to perform physical work.
  • Pride in providing guests with quality preparation and presentation of food.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
  • Date all food containers and rotate as per Crescent standards.
  • Ensure all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.
  • Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
  • Assist in keeping buffet stocked.
