About The Position
Line Cooks at Chili's, referred to as Heart of House Team Members, are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to company recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, communicating ticket times, and keeping food orders moving continuously. Team Members help maintain a safe and welcoming environment while working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and properly execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
