About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili's as Heart of House Team Members, are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to recipe procedures, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and ensuring food orders continue to flow from the kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
