About The Position

A Pizza Maker produces Roman-style pizza alla pala according to authentic Italian recipes. The role reports to the Bakery Manager and includes preparing pizzas, following portion sizes and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and sanitary production area that meets Department of Health standards. The position also works toward mastering all shifts in pizza production, assists Sales Associates when needed, and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production. Other duties may be assigned as required. This is an onsite seasonal position expected to last approximately three months, through the first week of January 2027, with the possibility of permanent employment based on business needs, performance, and availability. The pay rate is $19–$21 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a back-of-house production position.
Good work ethic, communication, and time-management skills.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule, often including evenings and weekends, preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Ability to work with a wood-burning oven, electric pizza convection oven, and commercial spiral mixer.
