Line Cooks (Noodle) are responsible for preparing, cooking and plating all of the noodle line items. This role involves learning all Noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures, checking ingredient quality, cooking ingredients in accordance with recipes, and plating the final product according to guidelines. The position also includes preparing and cutting garnishes, labeling items according to regulations, and attending staff and Noodle meetings. Supporting functions include keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitized, organizing walk-in coolers and freezers, lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds, assisting with deep cleaning, and maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
