About The Position

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Line Associate-Shoulder Cutter to join their team. This role is primarily responsible for removing poultry shoulders from carcasses using a knife at a specified speed, while adhering to all company policies, animal welfare guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations. Requirements

Manual dexterity required.
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Remove poultry shoulders from carcass using knife at specified speed.
Remove poultry shoulders from carcass while maintaining line speed according to company and customer specifications.
Identify and remove fan bones and eye meat from poultry piece as needed.
Adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures.
Maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality.
Report any condition or practice that may adversely affect food safety, food quality and/or personnel safety.
Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
