About The Position

This role involves preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation, and practicing radiation protection. The technician will also prepare images for radiologist review, assist with Medical Assistant duties to optimize patient flow, and attend staff meetings. A key responsibility includes completing training and obtaining Department of Transportation certification for performing Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests. The role requires proposing process and workflow improvements and working autonomously within established procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR- BLS
• Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging

• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
