Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar position in game development and/or film/VFX production, with a strong understanding of AAA production processes and constraints
  • Good knowledge of at least one game development engine (preferably Unreal Engine)
  • Excellent knowledge of the game production pipeline
  • Excellent knowledge of composition, framing, colour and light
  • High level of creativity
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster a positive and inclusive team environment

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Creative Director, and other artists to shape and maintain the game's visual style and lighting quality
  • Creating dramatic and compelling lighting that supports photorealistic rendering, enhances environmental storytelling, and establishes depth and layering in scenes
  • Leveraging game engine tools (e.g., Unreal Engine) to achieve high-quality lighting while respecting artistic and technical constraints
  • Optimizing lighting to balance visual quality and performance
