Requirements

Must live within 30–40 minutes of Grand Prairie, TX
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and pre-employment requirements
Seeking a stable Monday–Friday role (home every weekend)
Strong safety mindset and reliability in field environments
3+ years’ experience as a Diesel, Truck, Fleet, or Light Vehicle Mechanic
Strong experience with platforms such as Ford, Ram, Chevy, Peterbilt, or similar
Exposure to medium-duty trucks and mixed fleet environments
Solid diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
Welding and fabrication experience is required
Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain, and repair light vehicles and medium-duty / OTR trucks supporting civil and fleet operations
Work on equipment ranging from light vehicles, Class 5 fleet trucks, up to CAT-style surface support equipment (triple-7 scale exposure is a plus)
Perform engine diagnostics, brake systems, suspension repairs, and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot electrical systems using scan tools and multimeters
Read and interpret service manuals and technical data
Carry out welding and fabrication work as required
Work independently in the field with strong remote team support
Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures
