About The Position

As a Light Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by supporting outside sales efforts, managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You’ll be the go-to resource for our customers and partners, providing product recommendations, technical support, and excellent service. Johnstone Supply believes that each employee’s contribution should not be limited by the assigned responsibilities. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of HVAC sales, technical support, or inside sales experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP Platforms
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and applications
  • Honest, loyal and ethical, and capable of building and managing a spirited team environment with like values.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school background
  • Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings and/or specifications
  • Light commercial HVAC industry exposure

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and web platforms
  • Provide product information, technical guidance, and pricing for light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals
  • Coordinate with outside sales reps, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Track project timelines, order status, and lead times
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns as needed
  • Stay informed on product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings
