The Light Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing light commercial HVAC systems. Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of commercial or light commercial HVAC service experience preferred
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) certification/licensure as required for the position.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and communication
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, consistent with company and insurance requirements
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles and travel to customer sites as required

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair light commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and associated components
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues efficiently and safely
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls as needed
  • Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and promptly
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as required
