About The Position

This role involves feeding stainless steel wire into a machine to remove burrs from brackets. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to read part drawings, and the use of hand tools and measurement instruments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience in direct manufacturing
• Must be able to sit for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, toolmakers microscope

Responsibilities

• Feed strips of brackets into a deburring machine to remove burrs
• Degrease strips of brackets to remove oil used in the slotting process
• Use some hand tools to remove burrs
• Identify and mark nonconforming brackets
• Read and understand part drawings, and machine parts to specification
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
