About The Position

The Dixon Group is seeking a reliable Assembler with a positive attitude and strong mechanical aptitude to assemble components to quality and schedule requirements. This hands-on role uses small hand tools and/or production machinery to assemble products, perform quality checks, record production data, and track progress. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; training is available for candidates who are eager to learn and committed to precise work. The role is part-time and located at 225 Talbot Blvd, Chestertown, MD 21620, with shift hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfort working with tools, parts, and mechanical components.
Ability to perform addition and subtraction accurately.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs. regularly during a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Ability to complete repetitive motions while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Ability to handle and assemble small parts and components efficiently.
Proficiency in safely using hand tools and basic machining equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and report issues or non-conformances promptly.

Nice To Haves

One year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
