We currently have an opportunity for a Lift Truck Operator 1 at our Manufacturing Plant in Jacksonville , IL . ROTATING SHIFT HOURS (12 Hour Shift)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks or the ability to successfully complete employer-provided lift truck training.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to accurately inspect, identify, and move materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides safe and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing and warehouse environment to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery.
  • Partners with production, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, and operational efficiency while adhering to established safety and quality standards.
  • Works independently within defined procedures to ensure material flow supports business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Operate lift trucks and other authorized material handling equipment safely while complying with all company safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Complete required equipment inspections and report operational or safety concerns to maintain reliable equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that supports efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Transport raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to support continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Stage materials and finished goods to support production schedules, shipping requirements, and warehouse operations.
  • Verify material identification and documentation to support inventory accuracy and product traceability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records through required documentation and reporting processes.
  • Support inventory verification and material control activities to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and customer shipments.
