About The Position

Under general supervision, the Lift Truck Operator (LTO), Warehouse Worker will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand-up forklifts, pole, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment. This position will be first shift and will be based out of our Calhoun, GA location.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.

This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.

Responsibilities

Lead all components of safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment.
Comply with OSHA standards.
Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area.
Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner.
Any other duties requested by supervisor.
