About The Position
This role involves operating various types of lift trucks, including pole, fork, and squeeze hysters, to fulfill job duties. The operator will be responsible for supplying necessary items, maintaining waste records, creating shipping tickets, and loading beams onto racks. Additionally, the position requires servicing the hyster by recharging batteries and performing routine maintenance. The role also includes other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Good eyesight, hearing, and motor skills.
- Prior experience driving a lift truck.
- Ability to read tickets.
- Ability to make tickets for roll goods.
- Ability to operate wrap station.
- Ability to key data in the terminals.
Responsibilities
- Drive pole, fork, and squeeze hysters to perform needed job duties.
- Supply needed items.
- Keep waste records.
- Make shipping tickets.
- Load beams on beam racks.
- Service hyster by recharging battery and by performing any needed maintenance.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
