About The Position
This role involves operating lift trucks to perform various job duties, including supplying needed items, maintaining waste records, creating shipping tickets, and loading beams onto racks. The operator will also be responsible for servicing the hyster by recharging its battery and performing necessary maintenance. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and may involve other duties as directed by a supervisor.
Requirements
- Good eyesight, hearing, and motor skills.
- Prior experience driving a lift truck.
- Ability to read tickets.
- Ability to make tickets for roll goods.
- Ability to operate wrap station.
- Ability to key data in the terminals.
Responsibilities
- Drive pole, fork, and squeeze hysters to perform needed job duties.
- Supply needed items.
- Keep waste records.
- Make shipping tickets.
- Load beams on beam racks.
- Service hyster by recharging battery and by performing any needed maintenance.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
