About The Position

Woodward Park City is looking for Winter Lift Operators to help keep our lifts running safely and our guests moving smoothly all season long. This outdoor, guest-facing role supports lift operations, assists guests with loading and unloading, and helps maintain safe, organized lift areas. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outside, stays focused in a fast-paced environment, and brings a friendly, team-first attitude to every shift.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and able to stay alert in a fast-paced mountain environment.
  • Friendly communicator who enjoys helping guests of all ages and experience levels.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted.
  • Must follow all Woodward Park City policies, procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Skiing or snowboarding ability is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate chairlifts and surface lifts safely while following company procedures, training protocols, and safety standards.
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading, including first-time or less experienced riders.
  • Monitor lift areas, manage lines, and communicate safety or operational concerns.
  • Support snow removal, lift-area cleanliness, equipment organization, and daily opening or closing tasks.
  • Work closely with Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance, and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
